I do. While I was in the Navy, and never had to sleep in the mud, or get shot at. I still very much appreciate ya'lls and all other veterans service as well.
Many of us at my company have offered to cut our hours to help with overhead during the lean times. Management has not taken us up on it yet though. I have foregone my 401K for the time being as I don;t want to force them to withdrawl their match committment. Trying to do whatever I can to ease the bite of the slowdown. I work for a very small firm, and every little bit helps. The man who had owned my company for almost 30 years has NEVER had to lay anyone off. There are only 12 of us here, and I don't want to start now. We're like a family.

Ditto on the well deserved appreciation to all servicemen!!!
I had worked for a stand alone healthcare facility for several years back in the early 90's and as opposed to cutting back on wages or hours, they elected to do a numbers cut and cut back on much needed staff. Despite the promises that "this was the last cut ...", two more cuts followed, with my position being with the 3rd pass. A single parent raising two kids... man that savings account dwindles way too fast. Luckily I found a better opportunity within about 60 days which worked out well but again, that savings was hit hard. I guess that's what its there for.
Best regards for weathering the storm.
