Hey everybody-
I don't want to put a car tire on my Valk, but I am interested in putting on a wider rear tire. Does anyone know how wide a rear tire I can put on WITHOUT having to make any modifications? Thanks.
Dan

From what I've heard and read a 200 is wide as it gets. I wish a 240 or 250 would fit, it looks so sweet but would require extensive mods to the wheel and swing arm. A couple guys did it years ago, I've seen pics but don't know if they're in the valk/motorcycle world anymore. Found a guy goes by "Rich6" in the archives that had a 250 tire back 07 and it looks amazing. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u92/dwornik/IMG_001045.jpgin was tryin to post a link but don't think that worked.

I run the Battlax 200/60/16 on the rear. Slight rubbing from the nutcage, so I removed it. I only got a tad over 9,000 miles out of the last one, but the tire was $150 delivered from JC Motors.

Try Jake Wilson, I think you will save some and don't forget to google for a $20 off coupon.
