 Hi everyone, I'm new to posting but have read the threads for a while and have learned alot about my ride. I just popped back on a few weeks ago when Smokin Joe had health problems. I thought to myself I never even met the guy but know so much of his adventures. I just made friends with Stanley Steamer and learned of the Blue/Grey event. I'm going to represent the Yankee's. Anyway....has anyone else used the Corbin Trimtab Fairings? Other than the website, I have only seen it on my bike. Thanks Tonysax  |

I've seen the Corbin Fairing on quite a few Runes but yours us the only Valkyrie.

The Fairing adjusts up and down, I'm prety tall so it's not so bad. Extended all the way up (45 deg) does block too much of my front end. I only extend it up that high when it's frigid. I leave it at halfway to all the way lowered.  |

There is a fellow here in Colorado that rides with the Blue Knights that uses one on his Valkyrie.

Not my style, but dang it is different. I didn't think of Roger. I thought about S. Weaver and real bad Aliens that burst from your stomach. Something slightly dinosaur like too there. Very different. I like it, not because I like it, but because it is different!  I wouldn't like it that dark trying to navigate a slow rutted-pot-hole-filled driveway (inlaws) where you need to see immediatly beside your wheel. Otherwise it would probably be fine. The ajustability sounds cool. |

I looked at those things a bunch a while back on the website... they're opaque, right? They're supposed to route the air over your head so you're sitting in a still bubble, as I understand it... could you ride with that fairing and an full-face helmet with the face shield up - it the bubble that still? -Mike |

It came painted gloss black. I normally ride with sun glasses and 3/4 helmet with no wind issues when it is raised 50%. To get the full maximum bubble effect it has to be raised all the way. BUT you lose vision in the front. It does make a difference diverting the wind.
