I will still be out of town, so I won't be able to participate, but:
The Houston chapter meeting is due for this coming Wednesday, August 18 at 7:30 PM.  The rotation schedule puts us in Katy.  We have been meeting at Omar's recently, but I have had a request to consider another location.  Therefore, I formally request other options to be nominated, and an opinion poll to follow.  Where do ya'll want to meet in Katy?

Depends on the type of venue you are looking for.  However, SpringCreek BBQ on the Katy Freeway at Westgreen has a back room that can hold probably 30-40 people.  Hooters is also out there but haven't been there so don't know if they have a private area.  Landry's inbetween the Grand and Mason on the south side of the freeway has a back room also.

If you wanna stick with mexican, Taco Grill on S. Mason, south of Highland Knolls has good food and a back room with capacity for about 30 or so.

I have heard from enough people offline to make a quorum.  Spring Creek BBQ it is.
21000 Katy Freeway
(at Westgreen Boulevard)
Katy, TX 77449
Phone (281) 829-0359

From downtown, take I-10 past Fry Road.  Exit Westgreen, and it will be there on the right hand side.  Unfortunately, I can't be there, but ya'll have a good time.  7:30 PM, Wednesday August 18.

A repeat of a previous post.....Please consider a middle October or sometime in November meet-in-the-middle ride to central TX to include the DFW group and the Austin/San Antonio folks..... angel

Sorry to say Denise and I didn't make last night. She was feeling poorly and I had gotten popped about 7 times by ground wasp at the deer lease (they had moved in under my steps into the camper and did take well to us being there.) Travis my son was with me and he was wearing shorts they got him about 10 times but he is young and tough not old and week as his old man. Anyway I wasn't feeling quite right so we decided to stay  of the heat. Sorry we missed ya'll. Sad

Even I missed you, from Alabama!
Glad you're OK, if not great.
