Got to run US 129 for the 2nd time (1st time was in 2003) on Friday the 13th...

Took my daughter...

Had a GREAT run, no one was being held up by me, and I didn't leave any parts on the side of the road...

The sad part was... I wasn't on my Valk... I was in my Nissan Altima (V6 with 6 speed manual at least)

Even in the car, I had a BLAST...

It was me, my spawn, my spousal unit, and my mother in law...

The mother in law didn't think too much of it though...

She needed a barf bag by the end... Seriously... Anyone else ever hear of someone vomiting from a run through the Tail of the Dragon?

Anyway... Not on the bike, but wanted to share anyways... Wife wanted to detour on our way home from Disney World back to Dallas through Tennessee, and I insisted on going there via US 129 if we did...

Back about 5 yrs ago, I had to take the Tail of the Dragon back South to get home from Pigeon Forge when snow closed Hwy 441 South.....my Wife was with me and we were in the Mazda B3000 pickup......it was around Christmas time and it was cold and rainy.....I had some ppl pull over to let me by as I was running HARD through there....my Wife was NOT happy with me and said I wasn't a race car driver......but I couldn't resist a spirited ride even if it wasn't on the Valk.....she almost needed a barf bag too....... cooldude
