In what order should these be done? Or does it make a difference?
Replace timing belts (bike still has original belts) , valve adjustment, carb sync...

Save your carb sync for last.  The other two doesn't matter.

Yup, I'd change the belts then. The 1500 Wings were supposed to have the belts guaranteed for the life of the engine. But, as one old mechanic told me, you break a belt...that's the life of your engine. I figure when I hit around 70-80K, that's when I'll change mine. Unless I happen to get involved in some repairs in that area prior to that.

I check at NAPA, and they didn't have the belts in stock. Do you know of a good place to get timing belts from? (other than the dealership)

I checked the valve's, and all but one were spot on. The #3 exhaust valve was just a tad tight. It's amazing how well these motor's stay in tune.

I went ahead and had NAPA order two.  $33.49 each....
