Get on it and RIDE!!

Hardwick NJ

« on: August 15, 2010, 05:20:26 PM »

Met up with XMAN(Tom) today and he lead myself and Judy on a ride to the place where it all happened in 1969 "WOODSTOCK" in Bethel NY.

It's a beautiful place with a museum dedicated to the 60's and Woodstock tons of information and plenty of film!

The place also has an outdoor Amphitheater where they have concerts didn't get to look around outside to much because the rain finally caught up with us.
Did you ever wear something like this?
The people of Bethel did speak out trying to keep the Hippies from coming to their town
They had this bus inside where you could sit inside and watch a film was pretty cool

All in All was a good day going back to 1969 we have to go back and see some more of the outside when it's not raining thanks again Tom for the tour and we will get together again for the rest of the tour.

Robin and Judy, glad you had a good time. I enjoyed showing you some of the back roads of north east PA and the NY Catskills mountains. Bethel is a great desination. On Sunday in September and October they have a Harvest festival, with a different theme evey week.

Thanks again, we will get together soon and do some rideing.
