Can anyone tell me how to remove the fuel cap and trim bezel. I dont want to mess it up so someone with exp may be helpful.

Open the cap, remove the 2 screws.

you may want to put a rag in the opening so as to minimize the risk of one of the screws falling into the tank if you drop it
