Finally getting around to posting some pics from the trip to the great Northwest son Andy and I took a couple of weeks ago.
It was very cool to finally see and ride a small part of this end of the country. Out of 4807 miles we only had about 300 miles of storms and rain. We thought we were going to get wet many times and put on our rainsuits then somehow slid through the storms without getting wet. We did get in a storm in South Dakota with strong enough cross winds that we had to lay on our tankbags to hold them down.

Quite a view of the Crazy Horse Monument from a helicopter.

Saw lots of pronghorn but the locals said they don't taste like chicken.

Still looks like great hunting land though.

The Badlands. It would have been easy to disappear here for those avoiding the law in the 1800's but hard to survive long I think.

Custer Museum?
The coolest thing about the North West for me was that from most places we stopped you couldn't see a single home. Let alone a slew of them.
