I just changed BOTH bulbs in our kitchen light fixture and it only
took 20 minutes....plus 2 trips to Lowe's....and 1 Band-aid. But
I did it!!! uglystupid2

you opened the door to a whole world of "do it yourself" projects.
lightbulbs; kitchen cabinet knobs; screw tightening; plugging/unplugging lamps & small appliances-you will use highly technical tools too. Screwdriver, pliers (careful, moving parts) and the most useful tool of all-the common hammer-if it can't be fixed, beat it into submission! (keep fingers out of the way though)

there will be no end to what you will do!

When I became a home owner, one of my friends explained to me the "Rule of Threes":

- Every project will take three times as long to complete as initially thought.
- Every project will cost three times as much as initially thought.
- Every project will make you three times as angry as you've ever been.

He also gave me this wonderful advice...

Every time the boss asks you to do a project, convince her that you need a new tool to complete the job.
