Trucklite makes a LED headlight, 7" diameter, multiple LED's, very bright, ask anyone in the MIVRCC. No electrical mods whatsoever. I did need to add mounting plates to it so it would mount in the Valk adjusting bracket. Very pricey though, fortunately I got mine from the manufacturers rep.

wouldn't work in an interstate  Sad  i would like 'em, as for the price, you've got to think how long they last.  if they last twice as long, and cost twice as much, then it's a no brainer.

I have a standard and run a 80/100 but it will require replacing the bulb socket. Napa makes a high temp one that is easy.

I ran a 100/110 for a while, wothout mods.... but it went thru bulbs.  I am back to a 55/65 or whatever is the stock H4 numbers.  I added small lights in odd places on my Valk with custom mounting.  It makes my bike look DIFFERENT, and I think that gets me noticed.

I have a SilverStar Ultra in there now too, and I think that helps as well.

My IS REALLY puts out the high beams though.  I am not sure what's in it... but man-o-man, compared to the STD it's a FLAME thrower.  and my STD ain't a slouch when it comes to light output.
