2014 Valkyrie 1800

Seminole, Florida

« on: August 18, 2010, 03:26:35 AM »

Some of you know I've been looking for some time now for a new bike. Well for one reason or another everything I've looked at cannot replace my Valkyrie. I've owned three Harley's and didn't rule them out, looked at a broad range of Japanese bikes, sport tourers, cruisers and British bikes too. I believe not one single bike can be all my Valkyrie can be to me. I thought of owning more than one and quickly ruled that out. For me, I already have too much to maintain. I just want one well ridden machine.
Several bikes would've worked for me and me alone, however when it's a tad bit cooler out, my wife enjoys to ride and that must be taken into consideration.
My God I hate to say this, is it time for me to start considering tubberware??? Am I getting that old?
TJ had a one of a kind, custom BLACK Wing for sale and could kick myself uglystupid2 At the time I was unemployed and it was not a prudent decission for me.
His sounded AWESOME with custom made exhaust and truck stacks! Certainly was not your Daddy's wing cooldude I guess I'll just sit back and clear my head, maybe I don't need a new bike?

I guess it happens to all of us sooner or later (getting old). Just glad it hasn't happened to me yet... Grin

Why do you need a bike that's NOT a Valk again?
