Alright, so my daughter rented the movie step brother, thinking it would be funny.  I don’t know, maybe they thought it was.  It was 97 minutes long, about 96 ½ minutes too long!!  I had to force myself to watch it, all the time hoping that I’d have to leave because of nature calling, or any excuse, but none came.

Call me old fashioned, but I don’t see any humor in every other word being a swear word.  Since when do we have to make rudeness a requirement to be funny?  I’ve noticed that even Disney’s children shows are way off base with what they call funny.  Makes me wonder how stupid the next generation is going to be when they have to crap on stage just to get people to laugh.

"Death Curse of Tartoo", circa 1969

Not even close to a grade B movie or worth a six pak to watch.

We walked out after about 20 minutes. What a disappointment after the first.

Oh yeah - all of the late generation Star Wars - yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Only redeeming factor was the CGI.

I thought Step Brother was funny.  Not the best movie ever (kind of stupid actually), but still, funny.  But then again, I like that kind of humor.

Several years ago, I sat and watched "Dude, Where's my Car?" and when it was over, I actually felt like someone had literally robbed me of 2 hours of my life and I was pissed.  But, then again, I did sit there and watch it...on TV...for free...and it sucked...could have turned it off whenever I wanted...and I still didn't get up to leave.  So who's the idiot?  crazy2 But it was one of those movies where it looked so funny on the previews, but it was so bad that I just kept watching thinking it was going to get better.  It didn't.

First movie I've seen in a theater in better than 5 years, and it sucked!

There have been many, but most of them were not highly publicized movies.  Of the heavily marketed ones, "Lost In Translation" immediately comes to mind.  Bill Murray is brilliant comedic actor (who could ever forget his performance in Caddyshack), but I unfortunately watched his attempt at serious drama all the way to the end in this one.  As the final credits were rolling, I was still trying figure out what the hell I had just wasted my time watching, maybe it was a chick flick that was over my head...........

Notable mention here is "Reservoir Dogs", two words sum up this movie...blood/violence.  It was the car wreck that unfortunately I couldn't force myself to stop watching until very end....at which point I wish I hadn't.  I gave the movie to Goodwill about a month later so I wouldn't ever be tempted to watch it again...........

I just spent 45 mintes pounding a treadmill at the gym and watching "The Last Cowboy". Thankfully I was doing something good for me because the movie was awful.

Superstar.

I'm embarrassed to say I sat through the whole waste of time. The only redeeming feature was the good looking blonde I was sitting next to (Mrs. Elraque). Otherwise I would have walked out after less than 5 minutes.

Save it for when unwanted relatives or friends show up unannounced and pop it in whilst they are there boring you.  (but with your luck, they'll exclaim they LOVE the movie..... and stay longer! ) 2funny

Superbad and Forgetting Sara Marshall, are two of the biggest wastes of time I have seen a few years.

When my wife brings home movies I always ask if she got another "Strawberries and Chocolate"
Foreign film, subtitles, lousy acting, and some gay sex.  She thought it would be a 'romance' film.

I MADE her watch the whole thing. That was over 15 years ago and I still use it for leverage. Evil
