Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: August 20, 2010, 06:59:46 PM »

We hooked up this morning in Knoxville , Tennessee and took back roads over to US 129 The Dragon. We got in two great runs without any law on the way back we saw 3 Blount County Sheriff Patrol cars headed toward The Dragon.Foothills Parkway belonged to us with no traffic ( I love that road ) . First couple pictures I took early this morning as I rode out early before the hook-up time with the rest of the group.

It appears that my Guardian Angel was with me  Smiley

We had ( 5 ) Valkyries show-up this morning for the ride. This picture was taken at the over-look on the Tennessee side of US 129.

It was a beautiful day for ridin' it was hot however the humidity was somewhat lower today so we was'nt wearin' the air .

Scored me a new Moonshiner 28 shirt today at the Tail Of The Dragon stand across the road from Deal's Gap.

Nice break in the shade down by the lake.

My ridin' bud Greg started feeling some bad vibes on the way home turns out his u-joint was trashed and his final drive was close to being in the same condition  Sad

Lucky 13 cleanin' up his beautiful black Interstate this evening after taking Greg's bike apart and finding the damage.

That Guard Dog 75% Moly Grease Gordon Uses really sticks with program I see.

Glad it was the U-Joint and not something more serious.

Greg or Smooth Rider was pretty down in the mouth as to what it could be.

Good Pics once again and enjoyed the ride and fellowship.

The picture's kinda make's the splines look better than they really are...He needs a final drive a u-joint and a rear tire bad....I may have a line on one for him with VRCC vendor Big Mike. The u-joint was just about in two pieces  Shocked
