Just took the youngest daughter down to Durango for the start of college. Cry Cry Cry uglystupid2 Grin Grin Grin
Great scenic ride down with some quality time for dad and daughter.  Fantastic ride home, all to  my self.
1) Monument Pass: just a long hill for a warm up.
(part "b") Climb to the very top of Bishop's castle.  Spooky up there, and holding on with a death grip.
2) Poncha Pass: Long sweepers and keeping an eye open for UFO's.
3) Wolf Creek Pass: Old stomping ground, where I learned to ski, Very tame compared to the old road.
Spend the night in Pagosa Springs after a nice three hour soak in the Hot Springs cooldude After a quick drive into Durango to drop the girl off with mom and sister.........Just me  Cool and how about the LONG way home!!!!
4) Coal Bank Pass: Breath taking mountain views, blue sky, and NO traffic......A true sign of great times coming!
5) Molas Pass: Now this is up there!  Road is lacking guard rails.....lacking a shoulder!!.... at times it is lacking the WHITE LINE!!    When I happened to glance over the edge it was in the neighbor hood of 300 to 1000 feet of a drop off Shocked  The very top stretch which was all tar and gravel construction puts this very high on the pucker list
6) Red Mountain Pass: WOW!!! More of the same scary stuff!   The posted speed limit of 25MPH may be too high.  Second gear was all I needed!
7) Monach Pass. Very high, very cool, nice ride.
Cool Trout Creek Pass: Great scenery after a great dinner break.
9) Red Hill Pass: Really just a hill but someone called it a pass so it is on the list!
10) Kenosha Pass: A realy long descent into metro Denver under the light of the moon.
