I wonder why that even though I dont ride the 2 I have nearly as much as I want to, I still would like to have another one.  I guess I'm afraid they will all get gone some day.

You're a hoarder...

Me too brother.

I'd like 5 of 'em.

Standard.  Check.
IS Check.
Rune.  Nope.
Rat Valk Supercharged.  Nope.
Custom hidden soft Tail with a supercharged Valk engine.  Nope.

I need a few more bikes besides that too though too.

4 stroke 450 moto cross bike.

I've got a buddy from the SCRC in Stone Mtn that said he wants to sell his 1999 I/S with less than 20,000 miles on it for $8,500....he said he bought a black and red one and can't keep both of them....and his wife is selling her Valk trike......

Unlike a lot of you, I can only ride ONE at a time and don't need to have mulitiple bikes....just one costs me enough $$ to maintain, so I'll ride the hell out of it and fix it when it needs it

As much as I'd like to have another, I will probably buy something else (sport tourer or dual sport) first. Having two bikes that do the same exact thing just doesn't make sense to me. Plus you can still buy the original Gold Wing, so I'm not too worried about finding a Valkyrie should I ever want/need a replacement.

My 2 Valks are pretty different rides.  I'd dare to say drastic.  But, that's me.  I like my Standard.  The wife likes the IS.  So I set the STD up solo, and no BS.  Bike, and Leatherlyke bags, and that's it.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.  Heck, I like having the different strokes for just ME.

Hey Jabba,
I added an oversized passenger backrest, flip-up passenger armrests, passenger floorboards, and a gel seat pad to try to make my Tourer more comfortable for my wife, but she still complained about the hard ride and lack of comfort, so I added a Wing to the stable to keep her happy on the long rides.  However, I'd still like for her to go with me on the Valk on the shorter rides.  I've heard the IS rides better than the Std and Tourer.  Are there changes I can make to make the Tourer ride better?  I've heard Progressive shocks can help, but when I looked at a site that carried them, there were so many different ones, I gave up trying to figure out which would be better.  Any suggestions on further changes I can make to improve the ride?
