Does anyone have passenger grab rails installed on their Tourer model Valks?  I'm trying to find a set that will work and I'm not having a lot of luck.  The guy at ValkyrieBlingandMore couldn't tell me if the type he sold would work or not with the Tourer saddle bag lids.  I also have a Ultimate brand passenger seat that's wider than the OEM seat.   Any help or suggestions would be awesome!

This may or may not be helpful, but Ultimate and Big Bike Things both sell armrests that work great with Tourers.

My wife loves hers, and her seat/backrest/armrest all come off in 15 minutes so that I can run solo most of the time...

That is helpful.  Thanks.  I was thinking that it might as well be armrests instead of grab rails.

Thanks again.

What does she need grab rails for?

Only time mine got used was with the center stand.

NO, I'm not taking them off.

Wife never uses them, youngest daughter when she rode with me she never used them.  Both ladies have many many miles under their butt on the Valk.

If she thinks she is going to use them to hold on, she has missed the boat.  All she has to do is lean back into the backrest and go with the flow of the bike.   Lean with the bike, not away from the lean.

I've been trying to get my wife to stop trying to steer... She's doing a lot better lately but I still feel it happening now and then - especially when she thinks I'm getting too close to the center line.  Wink

I was thinking arm rests might be a better solution than rails.  We're getting ready to do a long ride to the mountains and I assumed she'd want someplace to put her hands.  She says she doesn't need it so maybe I'm just wasting my time.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Please see below link for Grab Rails I installed on my Tourer...very happy with them.  But likely they won't work on the wider seat.

They won't fit with the wider seat.  And she'll like the armrests once she gets settled in, and finds a place to rest her arms.  My SO won't ride without them.
