Well tomorrow I start swing shift,3 to 11 pm. Tuesday threw Saturday. I'm really looking forward to this for several reasons,the main one is I'm off Sun/Mon and get to be with the family on Sundays and worship, when I'm not riding that is and catching up with old friends, and that's the second reason,riding. I just could not adjust to Tues/Wed off, I hated it! So a guy on swing wanted to switch since he is raising a young daughter and all and my kids are in high school and college so why not? Never worked nights before but think I'm gonna like it, my wife don't go to work tell 11:30am so we can sleep in and do whatever,ya know? I'll be home by 11:30 pm,have a glass of wine and hit the hay,have Sunday,Monday off and don't have to be to work tell Tuesday at 3pm,kinda like a three day weekend,works for me. Swing shift is way busier then days cause all the kitchens and bars at the hotel are hitting on all six, a little Valkyrie talk there, but I've never been afraid of hard hard in fact I relish the opportunity and I guess the engineer that was on swing hasn't been pulling his weight so the crew is really looking forward to me coming aboard. So a new chapter in my life,bring it,lets ride.
