Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Left out of Angola Africa on Saturday and flew to London and then up to Aberdeen, Scotland to teach a class on Monday and Tuesday.

Got to eat a whale on Monday evening and hear the pipes in Scotland.

The whale was one pound of fish with chips and beans - yepper!  Got a free desert for doing it.  Could have gotten another whale for free, but I opted for the desert.

Got to hear the bagpipes of Scotland....The band was practicing in the hotel I was staying in.  Kind of talked to my soul.  I only have to go back a couple of generations to get to my Ferguson, McGilvray and McCloud clan heritage.  That's me, a southern scotsman - Bubba Ferguson.

Flew back to London on Tuesday and home today.

Red picked me up at the airport and there were 3 nutdog critters that sure were glad to have daddy home.

Went out and cranked Traveler up to charge the battery - sure was good to sit on her again - even if to just charge the battery.

Well, it's been 6 weeks since I left home and it sure feels good to be home again.  Red is frying catfish in the kitchen, 2 of the nutdogs are sitting at my feet and ALL IS RIGHT IN THE UNIVERSE.

Going out tomorrow and getting a couple of boxes of Boudin to bring with me to Ranger's BBQ over in Texas on Friday.  Leaving out Friday morning for Texas Ranger and Catfish's Invitational BBQ and Washer Toss over in the piney woods of Texas.

Safe winds.  Sure is good to be home let me tell ya!

It's ALWAYS nice to be home.

Welcome back.  Being in places like Angola make you appreciate the US doesn't it?
