What does the data say?

Corinth, Texas

I recently had an opportunity to...uhm...visit a dealer while on a road trip.   The bike was on a tow truck and I had to decide where to take it.  I picked one from the Honda web site and it turned out to be a good choice.

Honda Powersports Albuquerque is a new dealership.  However, they have experienced certified mechanics.  The great thing was, they let me work on the bike myself (out behind the shop), let me pick the mechanic's brains, and loaned me a couple of tools to make my life a little easier.  I was able to complete the repair myself (failed petcock diaphragm) and didn't charge me a cent.

So check them out if you're in the area:

Honda Powersports Albuquerque
1220 S Renaissance NE
Albuquerque, NM 87107
305.999.2555
www.hondaabq.com

Jeff Monroy is the manager:  jmonroy@garciacars.com

I have no affiliation with this dealer, just appreciation for the accomodations they provided.

Did you buy a lottery ticket the same day?  Seems like it was your lucky day.

Congrats and thanks for passing along the word.  Too often we (myself included) are quick to complain when a stealership behaves in the manner we've come to expect from them...and too slow to tell others when they go above and beyond (like in this case).

Hopefully they'll get some additional business from your post.

I love Abq. I was stationed there back in the 70's. Met alot of real good people.
We had a powersports dealer here in Tucson too. They were the best.
Very competent and competitivly priced.

I bought one the day before after the bike was on the tow truck.  I figured my luck couldn't get worse.

This reminds me that I haven't checked the ticket yet and someone did win the PowerBall.  I might be a bazillionaire.

The good, bad, and ugly of the trip are recorded for posterity here: http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,18947.0.html

It's kind of a wierd setup.  It's in a retail strip mall sandwiched between a Smart Car dealership and a scooter dealer.  The Powersports and scooter showrooms are connected.  It looks like one guy owns all three operations.
