The temps for the weekend were supposed to only be in the 80's, so I decided to go somewhere new...I hadn't been to see Wayne(Winghot) at his Diner......loaded the bike up.....

The new GPS only had me one block off the actual location, so I circled the block until I found it....and Wayne was there to meet me at the front of the building.....

I spent a couple of hours there eating his fine food....there were TOO many choices for me to try all at once, so I left some to try the next time I go over there..... cooldude

His Diner feels a lot like "Cheers"....he knows almost everyone coming into the place and speaks to them by name....a few of the locals chatted with me about riding over there......you rode 250 miles just for lunch?.....yeah.....I took some scenic roads about half way over there, but then my growling stomach got the best of me.....I had to kick her up a notch and figure me a quicker route for the second half of the ride..... cooldude

Can anyone guess what this pic represents??.....

Wayne had some real cute young Ladies working for him.....I couldn't pick just ONE to kidnap and bring home with me, so I had to let them all off the hook......now if I hd taken the Kia, I'd have been able to bring them ALL home!!..... Cheesy

Wayne was a good host and he wouldn't let me pay for lunch, so I just left a good tip for his young Ladies there......I'm going back sometime to try the Hot Wings......just not the HOTTTTTTT ones that sent Big Al on an ambulance ride...... cooldude Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin

I was pleasantly stuffed and had to be headed on up the road to spend the night in Chattanooga....Wayne gave me some good directions for the most scenic route there.....along the lakes.....

I spent the night in Chattanooga and was so full from lunch, that I didn't even eat supper.....HOLY SMOLLY!!!......I almost NEVER skip supper(yeah, yeah...ya'll can see that.... Cheesy).......

Got up this morning and headed toward home(after eating the "Grandpa's breakfast" at the Cracker Barrel)......I was in NC and stopped for a bladder break and HAD to get a Moon Pie and RC Cola.....

About 60 miles later, it was time for a bladder break at a pull-off on Hwy 60 South....

I noticed these muscadine vines in one of the trees there.....the grapes are developing nicely.....

I meandered my way on South-wards and HAD to stop at one of my favorite eating places.....it had been like 4 hrs since breakfast..... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Me and One-eyed Willie, Little Green Dragon, and the Big Green Dragon had 600 miles on the "clock" by the time we got home.....and only had maybe a dozen drops of rain fall on us the whole trip..... cooldude......with NARY a headache like I've been having after working in the heat all day.....The Fat Girl just turned over 83,000 miles on this trip, and I haven't had the alternator, driveshaft, pinion cup, universal joint, or splines go out on me yet...or had the starter switch act up on me yet(hope I didn't just jinx myself??!!)..... Shocked....but after looking at some of the threads here lately, I want to check her rear end out REAL good this Fall!!..... cooldude cooldude cooldude......

Does the old Girl look like she's 11 yrs old with 83,000 miles on her??.....

We had a terrible muscadine year this year... are those muscadines? Wild? I've never seen
muscadines cluster like that...

Last year was an awesome year... muscadines are one of my favorite things...

ALL of it was good......I had a 4 piece appetizer sampler.....fried squash, fried green tomatoes, fried dill pickles, and some cajun boiled potatoes.....and then I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich and fries for my main meal........next time I'm going to dig on some Hot wings......and the lemon pepper ones.....I'm kinda sly....that gives me an excuse to go back.... cooldude
