I replaced the screen on my Honda Line windshield with a Clearview replacement.  I was planning on adding a light bar to the Valk, but not sure which one will work.  I was looking at the Big Bike bar with the two 3.5 spots.  I like that one alot.  Will this combo work or do I need to look for something else?  I like the bigger lights, any suggestions?
Thanks

First of all, I think that you bought a first class replacement windshield.  Since the Cobra light bar has not been manufactured for some time, they are almost impossible to find.  That would be my first choice, but the 3.5" kit from Big Bike (Part # 55-312) is the one that I would go with at the present time.  It looks sturdy enough to go with large look of the Valkyrie and I particularly like the contour on the front of those 3.5" 55W halogen lights.  You will be amazed at the light that they put out...JTL

I have that lightbar and my OEM windshield gets taken on and off all the time.  The Clearview's windshield is cut out below the headlight for easy removal.  I'd think that it wouldn't be a problem with yours either.

Thanks for the replys, I agree that the Clearview is a great replacement.  Mine did not quite fit as perfect as you would think.  I got a whistle over 65 mph.  I can not find the rubber replacement parts for the OEM shield so I tried a little silicone on the edges to try and block the air flow between the screen and the frame.  Any ideas?
Thanks

You should be able to buy new rubber replacement gaskets here....

You might also want to try Bike Bandit.  Sometimes their prices are slightly lower...but not always.

BF, if you wouldn't mind me asking,  I noticed in your pictures that it appears that you have your mirrors turned the opposite way. Am I correct? Did you do this to increase the height of them?
One thing I miss from my gl1800 is the mirrors on the wing did not require me to look downwards at all.
Thanks, and Kilroy I want to do the same thing that you want to do. I also have a vented Clearview. What a nice windshield it is.
Take care, Eric

Don't mind ya asking.....

Yeah, I know they arn't normal, but I didn't turn them that way.....that's the way they where when I bought the bike 3 years ago.  At first, I was going to change them to the "normal" way, but then I started to like them the way they are.  My eyes go to them better I think and I don't have any problems seeing around myself to view what's behind me so unless I replace them with something different (which I've kinda thought of recently), they're staying the way they are.
