Hey guys and gals.I always get good advice here so lets try again.Had a little boo boo in garage a while back the bracket that holds my ladder on the wall broke off and gravity takes over.It falls straight down misses the old gs850l sitting right nextto the ladder but than falls like a tree toward the fat lady and hits the tip of the front fender hence the need for the chrome tip.It hit about in the center of the fender about an inch or maybe 2 back just a mark no dent but cant be fixed.easier to cover up if they go back far enough.Any pics and or recomendations would be helpful thanks      jeff Cry uglystupid2

I'm not familiar with all that are out there, but I have, and like the 'National' fender tip...  Have one on both ends  cooldude  Two small holes need to be drilled.

Here's a pic of the front.

Had the NC tip on my last Valk. Will probably do it again on the new one.
I always dab paint around any hole I drill in painted metal before I attach something. The last owner of my new Valk put on mud flaps and did not paint the holes. Now, after I took off the flaps, I have dime sized rust spots on the fender bottoms.

You could also use an Interstate fender ornament mounted closer to the front of the fender. A true OEM Honda part that nobody seems to have caught on to.

And as a pluse,....no holes to drill, as they are installed with adhesive body tape.

that's what has been on mine since 1998 or 1999...whenever interstate first came out....interstate fender ornament on  my red and white Tourer......

Sorta...  It's called a 'Smoothie', once made by RC Components (since discontinued  Cry )...

Thanks for the 'props' on my lady Wink

Very timely thread. Had a walnut fall out of a tree and hit the very tip of my front fender Sunday, putting a small dent in it.  Angry

National Cycle tip will cover the dent very well.

Don't know what it is with falling walnuts and me. Had one hit me in the chest at about 40 mph a few years ago. Good thing I wasn't going any faster. Almost knocked the wind out of me as it was. Good thing it didn't hit me in the face, but not because my extraordinary good looks.  2funny

That reminds me of a joke: coolsmiley

What do you have when you have nuts on a wall?
    Walnuts

What do you have when you have nuts on your chest?
   Chestnuts

What do you have when you have nuts on your chin?
