we I bought this house I was short on room for bikes in the garage so I put my Vmax under a cover in the Lani. It was supposed to be just we got settled in. Well there it sat for 16 months. Never fired it up even once. It was too hard to get out and the battery was shot so I never bothered with it. Well today was the day. The new garage is nearly complete and there is plenty of room for bikes. So, I got a new battery and drug it out of the house and into the garage. Now surely after sitting for 16 months the gas would be like mud and everything would be clogged. I hit the choke and it fired right up! ran it down the road and it still runs like a scalded dog.

Just lucky I guess? Grin

Nice. Those yammer carbs might have one up on our valks.... I had a similiar experience recently wit my mustang. It sat about 15 months, fixed the problems and blazed the tires in 2nd on my way 2 the gas station. She ran great wit that old ass gas.  We both got really lucky  angel

Really nice when that happens especially when you know what could have happened.  Grin cooldude

Dang - a Max and a Valk.  Yeah, I'd say you're lucky.
