What size socket is used to remove the spark plugs in our Valks?

18mm....you should have one in your tool kit. Not all sockets will fit in the recess, especially if the socket has thick walls.

My 18mm sockets were to thick-walled. Harbor Freight sells a set of metric, thin-walled deep sockets (color-coded even!) for a few dollars. That's what I use.
