Looking for s volunteer to schuck oysters to BBQ???? Anybody? Party menu is coming along nicely. Trying to incorporate good cajun food & Halloween. Planning chicken gumbo with tasso & sausage, pork with pistolettos, boudin, and much more. If you signed up for the romp, please send me your email address. Desert rat - just come and taste!! If there is nothing you like, I promise to make you something you will like. I am an Yankee who learned to cook Cajun from some really aweso e coonasses... They even gave me a certificate stating I now qualify as Cajun (I think it's debatable since I never leave bones in my gumbo)!!!

I don't know about shuckin ..... usually stick the knife.... and it's dull.... in my hand!!!! that's why they wear a chain mail... or kevlar glove on the hand holdin the oyster...! LOL But I could bring a gallon of shucked oysters!!!! LOL
