Do any of you know if a Trunk rack (to fit on top of tunk - not to mount trunk onto) made for a GL1500 or GL1800 GW will fit onto a Valk IS trunk?  Undecided

I've found a larger selection and much better price on these than those Valk IS specific.

Thanks in advance! Smiley

I have heard of people mounting Goldwing wings on the trunk.  I would think it would work.
See if you can find one  and see if it fits.

i think that this would look sweet for the interstate, i was told (and don't quote me) that it would fit on the trunk of the IS.

and it fit both.  Just be sure to measure and mark several times.  I sure was worried about drilling wrong.  I installed some extra washers on mine on top and bottom.

Peter I am going to put a Kuryakyn 7151 on my Interstate.  I saw a few at the Inzane meet this year, and they look really good on the Interstate.  I have found them for as low as $150 on ebay.

Thanks all for the great feedback. My biggest concern is that the IS trunk has so much of a slope to it that unless the rack has longer legs in the back the angle is so great that its not all that useable. Sad
I hate to order stuff and then return it. Embarrassed

Thanks again!  Smiley

You could use some of these:
