Boudain run.

Denise and I took a run to Lake Charles yesterday leaving home at 11:30am. We took a long way to get there down 90 to Nome fm365 over to winnie then highway 73 to Port Authur. We then jumped on 82 and crossed into La. over the big bridge and ran the coastline to Cameron. After a ferry ride there and hitting the only gas station that we saw we stopped for a snack at GiGi Cafe. Ok food but very hot as it was an outside dining area. We then took 82 to 27 up to Lake Charles, killed some time and relaxed in a park by the west lake bridge for about 30 minutes. We then eased over to Steamboat Bill's for the feast, crawfish ettoufee, pistollets stuffed with the same, fried butterfly shrimp and all the trimming.
Here's the best part after leaving here we rode over to the Market Basket to pick up the boudain. Well as we pull into the parking lot I see a valkyrie already there' it was JP's. We fond him in the store picking up grogeries and had a good visit with him and he told us the Mary and him had spent the last two month in the Houston Med Center fighting Marty cancer. He said she's doing a lot better now but still having good days and bad days because of the meds.
We'll said good by and loaded our loot with ice in the saddle bags and with 20ls. of the good stuff and ice hauled a#@ to the house down I-10 to 90 and 1960 to the house. we passed four of those off brand bikes on the way home.

I'ld like to ask everybody for their thoughts and prayers for Mary and JP in her fight against this illness. JP didn't ask for this but as family I believe it is our duty. Please keep them in your prayers. TIA

Prayers for Mary as she fights this awful disease. And for JP for support from "the family".
Anytime y'all are in the Houston Med. Center, shoot us a pm and I'll buy you lunch. This goes for ANY of my Valk family.
