I used to go to a friends Guy Fawkes night in Rutland, England
He owned a large piece of woodland and we would build a very large bonfire and have many fireworks.

His party piece was to have small pieces of explosive attached to pint containers of gasoline. These would be set off at strategic moments during the evening scaring the crap out of all assembeld.
