Terri and I had a great ride to the wichita mountains Saturday... We left Jacksboro late morning and rode thru Wichita Falls.. even rode thru the HOG Rally parking lot at the MPEC Center..

Took a few pics...  and met some friends that were camping there this weekend.   It was a great day for riding, temps were great and the ride was wonderful.   Passed a lot of bikes that were out riding, and though I usually go the back ways to places to enjoy the secenary, this time, I rode the toll road so I could air out the big girl a bit...and I DID!   It sure is fun passing other bikes at cruising speed!

Pics are below...  the one with the buffalo didn't quite work out.. I think my photographer was scared and didn't quite set the camera right.... I had mentioned something about the buffalo seeing red and charging... Grin

Ben,  give me a shout.. we might meet up!!

Grey Ghost..   I should have posted before I left..  I actually didn't see any other valks, except my friends bike.  That was a first for a long day ride and with as many bikes as we saw!

Any one else that wants to schedule something in and around Meers,  Bill's Catfish across the Red River in OK.. let me know.   Now that it is cooling off, I will ride more!

BTW,  Meers was packed, there were 50 people in line, I opted to go on.   I generally don't see that many people there when I go, but this was a holiday!!

see ya.

Hey, you guys give me a shout when you decide to make it to the Wichita Mts.  I live here and yes there is a lot of things to see here.  Sorry, but there is no up & down roads with switch back curves that one can race around, but the area has been kept almost original and is unique for this part of the world...JTL

P.S.-A friend is coming from Ft. Worth and we plan to ride the area on the 18th & 19th.  We will be glad to see anyone that wants to show up...
