Does anyone have any experience or comments on this trunk?

I have a Standard, 2001. I usually ride without sadlebags etc around in my backyard, but 2-3 weeks every summer I do some longer rides and would like a trunk that keep " a lot"
I understand only light stuff should be in here because of weight...
I shall also concider installing some LED light or something onto it..

As an alternative, I am looking for the biggest leather trunk / bag around..
Any ideas is welcome!

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Looks better then some I've seen.
The best thing I found for travel so far is a cheap piece of roller luggage from the Wal-Mart. Strap it on and roll it into the hotel ect. For 12 day travel, Kit & I fit all our stuff in a 21" size. Its been thru rain and everything is still dry. Plus its rigid enough you can stack on top of it and hang stuff off of it.
Hard to see it but its under there!  Cheesy

For weekend 300 mile trips we strap on a cooler. Fits some cloths plus your beverages at night. Still stack on top of it.
Kury, T-bag, make good luggage to but was to pricy for me. I have a soft expandable t-bag but I prefer the ridgid instead.

I have that trunk on my '04 Vulcan 1500 and it does a good job.  Not quite as big as I would like but it beats buying a Harley trunk for 4 times the price.  I had it and the hard bags painted to match the green and white color of the Vulcan.

I looked at that trunk pretty hard myself. It does look better than most I've seen for the $$.
Only reservation I would have about it is I wonder if you could open Tourer hardbag lids w/o mounting the trunk in an awkward position?
While on a road trip you just can't have too much lockable dry storage!  cooldude

Relax......

I'm not sure of what your definition of "alot" is, but if you're looking for a leather, or leather type looking trunk, are these about what you're looking for?  None of these are cheap, but they're nice.

btw.....the Bossbags and the Leatherlyke trunk are lockable.  The Harley trunk can be with a lock set kit that's available.  I've seen them on ebay.

I see your point...but I am riding a standard with leather bags, so I believe in that respect it will work here..

BF,

yeah,,.those leather bags are interesting... What I am looking for is the bags/trunk that are the biggest.,,,,and if possible,,,a way to pack a small bag on top of it,, ( you know women and all they have to bring along Wink

Opening the Valk hard bags with the trunk mounted should pose no problems.
