Hello, Everyone in VRCC. Thank you for being concerned about my injuries, and all the prayers from through-out the club. Special thank you to the Members that rode up at the crash site. You know who you are. My advice, always stay on alert. I figured I'd made it, time to just cruise on in to the hotel. (WRONG) But S%*! happens, Its good to be a part of this club, thank all of you very much for your concern.  Oh-- injuries---5 left ribs broken, collar bone, shoulder blade broken, bruised lung, some bleeding in my left part of the brain, and of course lots of road rash. Will recover, no big deal. My bike will recover also.

Thank You VRCC!

Jeff,

Heal well and heal soon. Look forward to sharing some wind with you in the future (near).
I feel your pain with the ribs, collar bone and shoulder blade, been there a few times, try not to laugh out loud, cough, breathe or anything else that casues you to use your lungs, just hold your breath tightly for the next few weeks..... uglystupid2

Great news, sorry about all the damage, glad it wasn't worse. Heal quickly, and be another VRCC recovery miracle. You're in good company.

Glad things are gonna be OK.

They are a big deal though.  Heal well, go slow.  Be careful.

Let us know how things are going.  And what you need to put her back together.

Great to see you posting Jeff.  I've had the whole broken rib thing, no fun for at least a month.  Whatever you do, don't sneeze, you can injure other parts and pieces.  Don't ask me how I know.  Smiley

I look forward to meeting you and sharing some wind some day.

Prayers on the way from TEXAS.

Jeff,

It does my heart good to see you on the board posting.  We haven't ridden together before and I hate we weren't able to ride together this past weekend.  You and your family have been in my prayers since I got to Natchez Friday nite and I heard about your accident from Joe.  Take good care of yourself and heal up, get that bike fixed, and then let's make up this missed ride.   cooldude

Good to see you're well enough to post a message.  Sorry to hear about the mishap, and that you got hurt.  Those busted ribs HURT for a while.  Just don't do what I did after busting mine the last time... I went for a ride and laughe half the night during the "parking lot party"... with nothing but ibuprofen on board.  That lacked ALL Zest.   uglystupid2

Jeff, it's good to see you posting. I hate that we didn't get to meet up and ride down together. I was shocked when Joe and the gang with him came in and started telling about a rider down. I asked who it was and they said "Fortyniner".  I looked at Santa and said "that's the rider that was going to try and meet us to ride down!!" I really felt bad that it didn't work out for you to meet up with us and maybe have a different outcome. You couldn't have been too far behind us as we had only been at the hotel for an hour or so when Joe came in. Anyway, glad to hear you are on the mend and look forward to actually getting to meet and ride with you one day soon. If there is anything we can do, let us know.
