A frind of mine has a Harley thats FAST. It will eat my Valks lunch everytime, in every gear.
He has over $5000 extra in it.103 kit, cams and exhaust. It put out around 150hp.
The only problen it it needs a rebuild around every 25000 to 30000 miles. Those fast Harleys just dont hold up for long.

100 hp Harley's can be built for about 1500 $ and they can be rebuilt for as long as you own them.
For a lot less than any Japanese Bike because they are simple.
110 Cubic Inch Stock Motors have 115 pds. of torque.
My Mean Streak has 95 lbs of torque at 2400 rpm. That's the stock figure, I am pushing at least
115lbs of torque with the Vance Hines Big Shots and Air Cleaner. It has 94 Cubic Inches.(1552 CC)
Parts galore and they still build them.
Mine has about 80 Hp and it cost me about 350 dollars for the Horse Power Gain.
But then I dumped about 500 $ on Pipes that are loud but don't make more HP than Stock.
Just sound real good.
Almost 30,000 miles on the FLHT Electraglide Standard.
Still runs as good as new and that 6th gear is handy for keeping up with go fast Valkyries.
Does not use any oil between changes and don't leak either.
Never turned a wrench on the motor except to add Screamin Eagle Platinum Split Tip Plugs.
People usually like the Pacific Pearl Blue color as well.
Variety is the spice of life.

Correct me if I am wrong but he says always wear proper safety equipment. He is wearing shorts, no helmet and just ordinary sun glasses and is looking the other way when he pulls a holeshot. I guess thats safe.
