I don't think I'd want to be the driver of the truck when he got his wits about him....

What's the likelihood that a cop with a video camera would be there at the right time?  They're never around when you need them!   tickedoff

I've yet to see an offensive lineman that has a neck, with these guys it goes from head immediately to shoulders.  If he had a neck, it probably would have gotten snapped!

Probably talking on a cell phone or munching on a burger.

We always get the worst out of it and they say ,"Wow man I did not see yah",.

Or was even looking should be the question.

After watching it fourteen times, that poor guy did a face plant right into that truck hood.

Helmet or not that would hurt.

Judging from the length of the shadows, the truck driver was looking directly into a blazing sun. So maybe (obviously) the driver didn't see him. I know when I'm riding into the sun it's hard to see. Having the sun at your back is nice, but oncoming traffic will have difficulty seeing you.

If ya run your high beam in daylight you stand a better chance of being seen.

Trust me.

High beam has saved my butt a few times.  It sure wasn't the reds and blues,
as they were not on.

+1  I like additional lights in front too.  In some weird config ideally, so it's ODD.  ALL on high.

And you have to go out of your way to try to be WHERE they HAVE to see you.  And you HAVE to assume that they are GOING to turn in front of you, until you are past... then worry about the next one.

Glad he's OK.
