I put the flag on the house today to remember 9/11.  Then I decided to put the flag mount on the bike.  I rode around town doing the errrands I was going to do anyways flying my 3X5.  Many people gave me the thumbs up in appreciation for seeing our nations colors.  I intend to ride Saturday and Sunday with the 3X5 just streaming away.  Please!  If you have the ability to fly a flag on your house and on your bike....DO IT THIS WEEKEND.  There is no greater time to be patriotic than the anniversary of the day America was changed forever.  NEVER FORGET  cooldude

I fly my flag 24 7!!! I remember everyday. Years ago I visited Pearl Harbour with my Grand Mother, I did not understand her anger that she carried from WWII. I now understand how she felt, 9/11 was our Pearl Harbour.

I fly the flag for those that have and are serving so I and my family can live free in the United States.

I also fly a smaller flag on my bike all year long. There is nothing more beautiful than the American Flag.

So fly them high everyday.

I also fly my flag proudly 24/7 and will fly it at half-mast tomorrow for Patriot Day.  cooldude
My family of 5 will also be waving our 3x5 flags at an overpass of the beltway (695) for two hours tomorrow morning which we've done the past 3 years.  Never forget!

My flag(s) fly 365/24/7.     They have flown that way since January 29, 1954 at my house.

That is when I was discharged from the Marine Corps.

Bike carries 2 flags at all times.

When my flags get tattered and torn or faded, they are taken to the American Legion Headquarters here in town for a proper burial.

This was in KY at InZane 4 or 5.   It was the year Scott had all the years, colors, models and etc lined up.    MGM was cleaned up by my oHIo buddies.

I too, like RJ, fly the illuminated flag 24/7/365.  This is what i fly on July 4th.
Today, it's the 50 star flag at half staff.

I had the honor of playing Taps again at our 9/11 ceremony yesterday at work. This morning I walked out the front door at 8:47 and played Taps up the street. Several neighbors thanked me throughout the day. I will continue to do this until I can't bugle anymore. The American & POW flags are mounted on my trike and fly every day that I do.

10-04 what solo1 said.

I just put up my big flag (new one) this morning.

Old one was there about 3 months longer than I usually do, but I wanted a new flag for 9/11

I had a small Stars and Stripes hanging from the right handlebar of my Valkyrie and then on my ST1300 since I became a US citizen in 2004. Same small flag. It's a bit grubby and worn and will stay there until the last thread. Then I'll put a new one on.

The flag was given to me by Jack Hunt at the NGAMC http://www.meetup.com/NGAMC1/ meeting after I became a citizen. The club members in attendance stood and together we recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Not many people notice the flag but I do every time I sit on my bike.

Our local Boy Scouts came by earlier in the year and offered a service to post a flag in our yard for each Holiday all year long.   cooldude

They didn't list 9/11 as one of the Holidays they would provide a flag -- but I was pleased to see an American Flag in our front yard this morning.  Best $25 we spent this year   Wink

Great idea!  +1 Boy Scouts, from a former Scout Leader.
