Thanks to all who responded to my petcock post the other day.  I found the problem and posted what I found on the Tech Board.

Thanks for the pictures and report Jim.

That was where mine was leaking at in Colorado a couple of years ago.  A quick fix (thanks to Hard6) was to get some JBWeld (Quick) and seal around the area (all the way around) where the two parts meet.  It worked for about 2 years.  I think that was where mine was leaking again about a week ago and the JBWeld had become friable.  I put new JBWeld on it and I reckon to get another couple of years before I have to do it again.

Good post Jim L, I still have the Stock but modified petcock, This will be a problem soon for a lot of us,  cooldude
