I have this black doo rag that I bought on the way to Colorado one year (2 years ago?). I think I picked it up in a store in Texline, Texas (right next to New Mexico). Anyway, I have never noticed before, but it has skelatons in different positions. Lady Draco asked me exactly what were the skelatons doing when I was in Natchez to see the Natchez Trace riders two weekends ago. When I looked, along some of the seams, there were squatting skelatons with standing skelatons behind them (it appeared). I told her, "Geez, I never realized my doo rag had greek scenes on it I reckon!" (with a red face).
So, I have been working on the house for the last couple of weeks doing Red's big Autumn cleaning and today I was just going to take it easy and stay inside out of the heat. Well, it was an awesome day. It had cooled off today to the lower 90's, so I checked to make sure it was cool with the nutdogs if I went for a little ride.
The primary Jack nutdog said it was cool as long as I frizzed him when I got back. Actually, it is so rare to see him SIT at all.

The little girl nutdog (rescue dog) said she could care less - she would be in the same spot when I got back. Yes, she puts herself like that.....We do not cover her or anything - she is the nesting queen.

So, I threw on the Greek Doo Rag for the last time, filled the bike at the local gas station, went over to the daughters and let her dogs out and gave them a treat, so the rest of the afternoon was mine to enjoy the wind.
Stopped by the local Sonic for a quick coney dog for lunch.

Then I thought, man, it would be good to have an ice cream to finish lunch off, so I went to Lafayette to the last remaining Borden's Ice Cream Parlor - built in 1940 and is even listed in Wikipedia.

Nothing like a nice Strawberry Sundae when it's 90 degrees outside made with real ice cream.

Well, now with a full belly, it was time to feel the wind. Rode back to Broussard and went down Bayou Tortue Road with some sweet curves in it that you can take at speed (except one that is longer than you expect when you enter it). It was a great afternoon.

Rode on over to St Martinsville along the Bayou Teche to the Evangeline Oak.

Then over to the church in St Martinsville.

Then I rode back to Lafayette and Broussard looking for a nice coffee shop I could hit tomorrow. They have built some new shopping centers while I was in Africa - but no coffee places, so I will continue my search tomorrow.
It was almost time for Red to get home, so I headed towards the casa because I also wanted to bleach the driveway before she got back. When I got back to the house, I tossed the Greek doo rag. This was the final ride of the Greek Doo Rag - and what a great afternoon of riding it was.

Awesome day!!!! And nutdog was glad I was back as well!! FRIZZ TIME DAD!!!!
