I have a set of Leatherlyke hard bags and the lids rattle.  The previous owner had stuck some round weatherstripping on the top of the bag edges but that didn't hold and it looked a bit tacky.

After some searching I found some NAPA weatherstripping that works perfect.  Its part #770-3174 and for about $20 you get 10 feet which is enough to do both bags and have a couple feet left over.

If your Leatherlyke lids rattle this might be the solution for you too.
