Has anyone added supplemental lighting to the back end of the tourer?

I have a Signal Dynamics led plate frame and it looks good while adding a bit more running light and the Back Off flasher is hooked to it so the regular brake light goes on steady with the brake and the led bar goes 3 short, one long and repeat.

I am 1/2 tempted to add a stop/running red led bar and a turn led bar to the rear bags or brackets. I don't like over the top clown car stuff, (conservative ya know) so garish is out. I also like the idea of not getting run over.
.....................

I am thinking of lights for the engine guard for a bit of extra front end light and to be seen. I still have the headlight modulator off the 97 and while it got noticed, I got stopped 3-4 times a week by helpful folks who told me the headlight was screwed up. Its a smallish town city..... It got to the point I hardly ran with it on. Still, I haven't decided if I want to put it on for the 3 times a month where I did run with it on.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Custom Dynamics sells a (now they have several) knightrider light that I've ran for years on my I/S it travels back and forth while on and when you hit the brakes it flashes real bright for a period of time and then stays on solid. I've had many people tell me how eye catching it is.

Here are a couple of sources for teardrop lights the can be mounted on your hard bags. I haven't done it yet but I think they look great.
