All I did was clean the K&N air filter....

All I did was clean the K&N air filter....Now It seems to be running too rich and misfiring at low throttle positions. Problem goes away when I open it up???????
Did I miss or god forbid, mess something up?
I am running sea foam through it now, and have just changed the plugs (trying to eliminate possibilities)
Any thoughts?
I am not overly gifted with a wrench, carb rebuild may be over my head.

More than likely too much oil in filter.

+1, too much oil will block air flow causing the condition you describe....

+2 on too much oil.
Mine I use the cleaning solution that K&N has, then when it is dry, we have an oil misting machine, at the shop, we do a light spray and ready to rumble.
Only other thing it could be is ya knocked a hose off in the take apart/re-install.\Personally, I'd start looking at hoses knocked off or cracks in them 1st.

Put me down for a lesson learned...Go lightly with the red oil!!!
Thanks for the wake up call, it was too appropriate for me to see.
