Bastrop routes

Hey all,

I'm heading up to Bastrop (from Houston) next weekend for the hell of it.  Any suggestions for routes to ride while we're up there?

Denise and I just cruised that area this weekend. We did some visiting with my sister south of LaGrange and then went over to San Marcos to the dreaded outlet mall.  :(Everybody and his brother was at that place. Then we went and soaked our feet in the river to cool off. Monday it was back up to College Station to see the son and drop off some clothes we got him at the mall. Then home by the back roads we did 534 miles and only about 25 of them were on the super slab. We also bought a hanging plant in Roan Tx and had to unload the trunk into a strap on bag so the plant could have the whole trunk to ride in. We had a great time and saw a lot of bikers out enjoying the holiday weekend.
