Riding Pikes Peak July 2015

SW Indiana

It was Labor Day weekend and somewhere between Lawrence and Manhattan (I believe we were in Wamego, KS).  We got a little turned around, ended up in a residential area, turned a corner and there sat 3 Valks in a driveway.

I'm the crazy lady that had the driver back the car up so I could stand in your driveway and snap a pic of the valks.  Picture on my phone didn't turn out.

Bet it was near the city park, right?  That would be Gunslinger and Firestarter, just your typical Kansas Couple that both happen to ride Valkyries. Both VRCC folk.  Talked to Firestarter one steamy day in August when I stopped to cool off at the park.  cooldude  Hoser

You're right, it was very near a city park.  =)
And if I'm not mistaken I saw you one day heading west on 24 into Tonganoxie.  Unless there is another maroon and cream in the area.  I think that was way back on July 4th weekend.  lol

I've only been to Kansas 3 times, all this year.  After spotting Valks the first 2 times, I was kinda stoked. cooldude

Could have been me, I ride a lot, usually just take off and end up somewhere, also ride a couple days a week to meet a bunch of retired guys for lunch. http://www.romeoriders.com/forums/
Actually there a lot of Valk riders in Kansas, Stude31 and I being among them.  Hoser
