Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Well, had a large time off with Ranger and Catfish's BBQ and meeting everyone up in Natchez and telling a lie or two (yeah, we are going to have a good time).  But alas, all good things come to an end and another chapter opens itself again.  Left my home that I spent my time off working on (doing things I should have done over the last year instead of riding - but hey, they waited - like cleaning the entire house with bleech, trimming trees and cleaning out the attic, garage and my office in the house).  Red was happy.  So, yesterday, it was time to throw the cover over Traveler and put her to bed for a couple of weeks.  I sure had two needy dogs that followed me with their noses right up against my leg all morning.  The third could care less as long as you give her a treat when you leave, but the 2 boy nutdogs knew Dad was leaving and were very, very needy nutdogs.

Hopped on a puddle jumper instead of the Embrair jet that Continental normally uses and started the first hour of air travel of the 41 hours in the air I will have to spend before I get home again.  Bumpy flight this time.

Got on the BA jet in Houston for the next 9 1/2 hours  - well, 10.5 hours down - 30.5 to go.

Went down to the National Galary since I only have a day room and will continue on in a couple of hours and grooved on some paintings.  Man, Monet blows me away!!!!  Plus, MAN, is it ever COLD over here!  Brrrrrrrrrr!

Grabbed a rack of ribs and some joe and back to the hotel to check my emails and grab a shower and jump on another jet.

But I sure did groove on one tune over and over since yesterday.  From Mud Slide Slim that was released in April, 1971 by James Taylor had a song on it called "You can close your eyes" that just seemed to fit today and I must have listened to it 20-30 times.  On the plane at one time, I just put it on replay and listened to it over and over.  I sure do love Red and sure am going to miss her - but tomorrow is another day - AND WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!!

Well the sun is surely sinking down,
but the moon is slowly rising.
So this old world must still be spinning around,
and I still love you.
CHORUS:
So close your eyes;
you can close your eyes, it's all right.
I don't know no love songs,
and I can't sing the blues any more.
But I can sing this song,
and you can sing this song
when I'm gone.
It won't be long before another day.
We're gonna have a good time.
And no one's gonna take that time away.
You can stay as long as you like.
(Chorus)

Safe winds everyone!!!!!

OH, it looks like my schedule is getting changed a little and I just got the Romp in the Swamp!  Whooooooooo-Hooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

On the way to the airport, I brought it up to Red - seed is planted.
