Simply Awesome!!!

Hey Folks,

Has anyone ever used a hand held CB mic with the OEM CB? and how was it accomplished?

I find that I need this option for funeral escorts because once I enter and stop traffic at an intersction, I get off the Valk and to unplug/plug in the cord is a real inconvience and time waster.

Thanks for any insite on the subject.

Ride safe and enjoy Smiley

I've seen two guys with the hand setup before, but have no idea what they had to do to make it work. At least you know that it's possible. Hopefully someone here will speak up...

Back when I did Funeral escort, I carried a portable in my pocket with the mic clipped on my shirt.

BUT, I had to take it to a CB shop, to have it converted.   There was a CB shop up by the Truck Stop over on I-80.
