They are passing away so quickly...........

May their efforts be remembered long after they are gone and may their example
carry forward to the future generations cooldude

Lost my Dad on July 31, WWII Marine vet, spoke very little of his service over my lifetime. Had a Military Honor Guard ceremony at the graveside and it was very impressive. Several family members and friends  came up later and and said, "I never new you dad was a Marine". Their humble service is the benchmark for the generations to come.

My Great Uncle Earl Cate WWII Veteran, was laid to rest two weeks ago.

He brought back with him knives made from the wreckage of Japaneses Zeroes.

For his nephews.

For his nieces he brought back shell necklaces.

He was a Sea Bee or engineer of sorts.

Yes Oss they are dropping pretty fast, Brave Men and Woman of the 1st Order for sure.

Ole 666 showed those Japanese a thing or two.

My dad is my hero. He fought on Palaeu.  Marine, of course.  He is now 87 and doing pretty well.  He carried a flame thrower and got shot in the back by his own guys.

Thanks for sharing the story of  666.  That was AWESOME.

THANKS TO ALL our VETS for their service.
