He has jumped on my back and is riding me for all he can get!  The Car Trouble Monkey, that is.  Wife is gone every week with her job and came in Friday night saying her VW Passat had a vibration and what felt like a wheel wobble.  Drove it, yep, big problem.  Took it to the shop and sure enough, both front axles had gone bad.  Got those fixed for a pretty penny.  Then went car shopping - last son turned 16 last month and I needed to either buy him a cheap car or buy myself a new one and give him my old Jeep Cherokee.  Ran into a good buy on a Cadillac Deville and bought it.  Today, the Jeep Cherokee wouldn't start after church, thought it was the battery so bought a new one - nope, that's not the problem.  Going to have to get it towed tomorrow to the shop and get it fixed.  Drove my new Cadillac tonight to church and came out to a flat on the brand new less than 50 miles tires.  Big roofing nail stuck in it.  Got it down to the tire shop so they can fix in the morning.  Anybody want to come close enough to me so the monkey will jump off my back????   tickedoff

You know how a dog shakes when he comes in out of the rain.

Do that and the monkey shoulld go a flyin.

Always found that when something happened it happened in 3's.

You have had 3 things so he is already off your back.

Good Luck with that Cadillac.......   Glad you bought it instead of me.

As Forrest Gump would say:
“That's all I have to say about that.”

Best tonic for that sort of ailment I've ever found is to take a little road trip... No monkeys here, and none wanted, but I do think a road trip is in order for us. My riding partner, Napper, and I have half a mind to scoot on over to Elijay, GA, this Saturday for some of Col. Poole's famous BBQ... We'd be mighty proud to have you and anyone else join us. We figure to be there 11:30-ish... No plans after that, but... We also have half a mind to let this be an overnighter too... Interested? More details to be posted seperately...
