I'm getting ready to put a set on my Concours 14 and will probably do one or more of the Valkyries with them come next spring. Will let you know if I run into any snags - please do same.

I have both front and rear lines advice mount the lines and make sure that the bleeder at the triple tree is closed. My bleeder nipple was screwed all the way in and still wouldn't stop the flow of brake fluid. just make sure when its closed, its closed. The rear line will need to be rerouted and be prepared with a couple of wire ties to make the run over the swing arm to the rear caliper. Bleeding for the rear no problem just a bit tight but the front bleed the system from the calipers then do a final by opening the bleeder on the triple tree. Just seems to hold a really small amount of air.

Dave,

The fronts are a painless Remove & Replace.  Mine fit perfectly and I really like the fact that the OEM wire retainers can be reused on the Tee.  Ditto the rubber grommets in the fender retainers.

The rear was more of a chore.  I did mine at the same time I changed tires and serviced the final drive.  I would either wait to do the rear until you service the final drive, or better, use the brake line R&R as an excuse to service the final drive.  You'll have much more room to work with if the wheel/tire is out of the way.

NITRO,

I believe Galfer has a $250.00 minimum to order directly from them the first time, and they'll sell at list.  I bought mine through my local dealership where I get a discount off list.  They bought them through their Tucker Rocky account.

Got mine at www.cyclebrakes.com  You can order custom lengths if needed to fit with risers. Even though the standard honda lines will work with 6" Duece risers, the stock length steel lines will be short, so order as needed to fit. Also if you have put on the peg relo-kit from rattlebars you will need a couple of extra inches for the rear line.
Clutch line will also need extra length for risers.
