Since moving up from a Standard to Interstate several years ago I have lived without an Air Horn, but after this weekend, decided I needed something LOUD. Problem on the Interstate is where to mount it. The front pods take up the space up front....I would like to go with a huge triple train horn, but unless I mount it on my head, not sure where to mount it. Any ideas? Is the WOLO any more/less louder than the Rivco etc; ?

I'm not sure where they mount on the I/S, but get some quads from BigBF. They aren't air horns, but they're dang loud.
I only have the duals on my Std. They, and the quads, mount underneath the bike.

I have an I/S and my air horns are mounted berlow the swingarm,....and they are LOUD!
I have a nice new set of Chrome Stebel air horns that I would like to sell. If your interested in them, call me @ 313 204-3826

Stebels inside both pods..... That way they don't see it coming and you get em' on both sides! That where I have mine.

Rivco makes a dual air horn kit that mounts under the trans in front of the swingarm. They attach to the exhaust system. Here's the link: http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/home.php?cat=223I don't know if you can still use the lift attachment with these horns installed. But I also want a decent horn on my Interstate. Even the horn on my old FIAT 850 Spider blows the oem Valk horn away. If you ever intend to install fog lights in your Interstate radiator pods you won't be able to mount horns in there as well. Mark |

I have been wanting to put air horns on my bike... but I have been wanting to use a set that have been in my family for a long time. They ain't pretty, but they are dual trumpets, and came from a dump truck. They sound awesome. I want to mount them on the timing cover. It's the ONLY place I can find where they are not in the way.
I have been looking for a compressor for them. A simple momentary on compressor that'll drive them. I think they need about 25 PSI. I have not had a lot of luck yet.
