it is amazing to me how the fast black valk's handle the road.
what a peaceful looking ride.
one of the best rides i can remember was the ride across ky when the honeysuckle was in bloom. just makes you want to lay down and take a nap.
cool video.

Great video Jim!   cooldude

BTW, thanks for the clarification on the dialect of Deutsch that is spoken there.  I also found a bit on Texas Deutsch...which is called,... you guessed it Texasdeutsch!  Plautdietsch is also referred to in that wikipedia article.

What a great video Jim! cooldude

Amazing to see how different the foliage still is down there compared to up here in your better halfs stomping grounds. While you were out riding the Valk, I was riding my tractor and leaf vac. Sad

I wonder who had the nicer ride? Grin Grin

Good job, or should I say, "Gute Arbeit!".

Hey Pete...I know exactly how the weather has turned up your way, my wife gets a report from her parents everyday that live just a few miles from you.  I think they are getting ready to pack up and head to Naples for the winter!

We won't be far behind them. Plan to leave here for Florida early November. Smiley

Your video couldn't express why I hate interstates any better.

It's kinda how I feel about flying.....if I can't get there by driving, then I don't need to go.

Same with the interstates/freeways.  If I can't get there by going the back roads, then I don't need to go.

The camera is a ContourHD 1080p with a Contour Universal Mount Adapter.  It is mounted on the handlebars with a Ram mount (RAM-B-149Z-C1U) that has a 1/4-20 thread bolt (for connecting to the Mount Adapter).
