Anyone have experience with after market extended motorcycle warranties?  I'm sure some aren't worth the paper they're printed on, but any good ones out there?

Chiefy....my job is an inspector for vehicle extended warranty's. All I have to say about that is.....with a car or truck is is a very good idea....if you have a good one. Like everything there are good one's and shitty one's....what you pay for it will dertermine if you have a good one or the other one. Now for motorcycles, I would say riding a Valk you really don't need one, but if you feel you do, ask yourself a few questions first. What does your local stealer get per hour to work on your bike, or if you know someone independent who works on bikes? Think about what you might need done on your bike. On a Valk, fluid changes, tires, brakes even an alternator or wheel bearings. Not really expensive stuff to pay the labor. As far as rear diff, engine or trans goes, I would say you may never need that service. So my thought on that extended warranty on a Valk....save your money and buy more gas!
